Movement

Movement is medicine for the body.
When done mindfully, can also be a healing balm for the mind and soul.

I love the physical practice of Yoga, however am also drawn to many forms of movement including Pilates, Barre, Dance, Weight Lifting, Surfing, Running, Hiking, Rock Climbing and more. I believe strongly in the value of exercise and movement in all ways, especially if it stirs one's soul.

Gentle/Slow Flow Yoga

Includes basic beginner level yoga postures and stretching to help loosen deep held tensions.This class will leave you feeling deeply relaxed and grounded. May include a bit of Yin yoga and Yoga Nidra. Also available LIVE on Zoom or by recording.

All Levels Flow Yoga

Geared towards the intermediate practitioner, but also suitable for the beginner and advanced, this classic Vinyasa Flow class links postures together with the breath for a well rounded movement and meditative experience. Also available LIVE on Zoom or by recording.

BARRE @Hagerstown YMCA

High energy class incorporating barre/ballet movements, pilates, strength training and yoga.

Yoga @Elite Performance Institute

Small group, all levels yoga class focusing on strength, mobility, balance and flexibility.

Z Class Zoom Recording ONLY

A one hour energetic boost that includes Barre, Pilates, Yoga + Strength Training. Truly an all-in-one class if you are looking to achieve a sculpted physique, while also achieving greater balance, coordination and flexibility.

Warm Vinyasa Flow

Same as All Levels Flow, but the room will be heated.

Yin Yoga (By Request in Person and Zoom)

A deeply restorative and relaxing practice of long held, supported floor postures that helps to create a deep state of calm for your nervous system as well as nourishing your fascia/connective tissues, bones and joints.

Pranayama (By Request in Person and Zoom)

Learn breathing techniques that significantly impact your health and state of mind.

Yoga Nidra (By Request In Person and Zoom)

Also known as yogic sleep, a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. One hour of yoga nidra can be as restorative as four hours of REM sleep.

Held every second Saturday of the month in Cushwa's taproom - a fun and social all levels yoga class followed by your favorite Cushwa beer!
